Native Guy's Thoughts of the Day

Today, I had a chance to look over some articles which deal with racism. This is a very troubling subject, but one that is not spoken of by minorities very much. It is easy for any person to call racism for every word that is spoken today. Look at the many headlines which deal of people who are taking offense to every word, and then defining these as racist. One question that has to be asked, is every person racist?
This thought can come with many answers. Maybe an emphatic NO! I am not racist, yet maybe you feel like people whom are trying to find a better life, using the media terms and whomever uses the term aliens to describe people. Think about the news today, and hear the stories of children coming from South America to find a better life, is that wrong? No, but to call them aliens, immigrants, or people who don't belong here shows a little air of racism.
As a first nations member of the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma, the language of the Kiowa has words used to describe people whom we ran into centuries ago. What is the purpose of knowing that some tribes had words to describe other people of differing races? Think about the time we live in, now today, Kiowa people use the words which described people in the same racist connotation. Yet, this is a new ideology for  the Kiowa's and most first nations tribes. Why?
Racism was taught by people who conquered this land. The views of Christianity have been twisted by the very people whom profess this love for a man who died for all. The key word in the sentence is ALL, not your views, my views, or how a religion, or group, or organization, but for all. So to those whom want people to use a false sense of following Christ, must not know who the Christ really is. Jesus, to all the people who are racist, is from the Jewish Nation, not European as many like to draw his picture. So what's the point of this?
The main point is many profess to follow a person who went and paid the ultimate sacrifice, which is death, being beaten, laughed at, mocked, yet still went and died for all, so if your a real Christian, what does the bible teach people? Racism? Many use scriptures to point out a view, but won't look to the whole context nor set the stage for what they write. Usually a quote to help push a human view, not Godly view.
So how can we start to heal these very issues in the society we live in? Well discussion is good, however, many whom discuss the issue may not even understand the word racism. It is a word used for many issues today, but some can really be called ignorance, or intolerance. Whatever it is, this word is tearing people apart, and the views are getting more cloudy, so look to the world as a Christian, Native American, parent, or whatever race your from, it is up to humanity to help fix this.

Bringing Native topics to light?

Well it has been a while since I have had some time to sit and think about blogging. And really I haven't been doing any type of writing or thinking or even knowing I had this blogger up. But as I have finally seen the potential of what is going on, as well how to get more people to listen is to bring something unique to the table.
How unique? Well there are people who talk and give subjects on Native discussions. Yes, however with blogtalkradio.com/nativeguy, we try to talk of subjects which other's in Native American country talk about, yet not always allow those whom may disagree with speak. Why is that? Usually has to do with control and who has it and usually it is the reader, whom sometimes must just either not read the page anymore, or just not be concerned. That is not what native guy is about.
Native guy Talking on the blog talk internet radio allows those to speak, and not be censured for disagreeing, but to allow to speak, because every voice matters in this big world. As growing with the blog talk show, learning to understand and listen to the stories that others have, it shows how much learning of this world is to have, and understanding and seeing the differences are important.
Keep tuning in, as well visit our site at www.someguytalking.com!!
